We are excited to see what materials are the most helpful to the maternity clinic and look forward to continuing the partnership between Aspire Global Health and Delivering Hope.
Delivering Hope held a successful fundraiser at Soul Cycle Pasadena on Lake Avenue. We had a great turn out and raised over $3k to help us continue shipping medical supplies to reduce maternal mortality rates all over the world. Sending a big thank you to SoulCycle for a great ride and Athleta for donating some great goody bags!
Interesting article about medical waste in the US. We will take your unused supplies!
Hospitals, “doctors’ offices, clinics and other health facilities generate several billion pounds of garbage each year: buried in that mountain of trash are untold numbers of unused disposable medical devices as well as used but recyclable supplies and equipment, from excess syringes and gauze to surgical instruments.”
